The Research Of Cave Dwelling In Western Henan Provience From Physical Geography View

This dissertation belongs to the research project of Department of Education ofHenan province for construction technology of local settlement of HenanProvince.(Project NO.2009B560013.)The cave dwelling in Western Henan Province is an architectural type which hassuperb historical,cultural,artistic value.The Western Henan Province is one ofimportant existing area where cave dwelling existing in China.Depend on thisparticular physiographic condition and long period of development,the cave dwellinghave some characteristic,such as space,form and construction technology.But in thelast few years,all of settlement of Western Henan province have an importantvariation depend on the changing of government policy.But a lot of outstandingfeatures of cave dwelling have been abandon and the local culture is being lost.So,theresearch of cave dwelling has become increasingly important,especially in research oftype,feature,protection and renewal.This dissertation has three parts.Part one,the research of type and features ofdwelling and architecture.Second part,Using the theory and research method ofphysical geography to analysis the features and influence factors to avoid thelimitation of research theory and method.Last part，the research of protection andrenewal of cave dwelling.
