| In order to meet the individual needs of customers and for the purpose of enlarging global and domestic marketing and business, a company introduced and implemented product modularization design and part design standardization which will improve the design capacity of design department with cost down and then increase the competitiveness in the market. This thesis studies from the following two aspects:(1)The method of modularization design is studied on the basis of design principle of modularization. The analysis of product series design and the theoretical system of modularization design is carried out from the aspect of module-oriented design. First, to make clear the main customers and functional requirements of new products based on the customer research and analysis of similar product market. Then to define the modules of a product and categorize several functional modules to concurrent design and fabricate, which will improve efficiency as a result and reduce the difficulty of design, and guarantee products with high qualities.Base on group technology and part design standardization theory,the standardization method is decision-making by AHP ,and fit some company . Firstly, by categorizing similar parts to manage parts in production, recommendation are made when select standard part. Then, basing on recommendation parts and parts in category III, A company constructed Library of 3D, 2D and samples of those parts, and improved old parts information managing system. At last, they analyzed improvement results of standardization from direct and indirect profit aspect.The thesis make forecast that after the implement of modularization and standardization, integrity rate of parts will reach 5%~10%, cost of purchased parts will decrease 30%, along with 30% lower design cost. This standardization activity in product design department must be a good start of continuously improvement in whole company, then in turn a good basis of whole-aspect standardization in company. |
