The Implementation Of Resettable Fuse Resistance Pass Yield Project

The Project Quality Management comes from the last half of 20 century, it is the cross field of project management and quality management.The resettable fuse was used in automobile, electronic and telecom fields and so on. Because of the growing competitor, the continuous requirement of customers, especially the impact of global financial crisis, the company need to reduce the cost, improve the service and quality urgently. So the company decided to implement series of project management improvement, including the"resettable fuse resistance yield project". And hope can upgrade the competition power in the market through more effective project quality management.In this dissertation, through implementation of project management method, and using the related technical tools of project quality management, project team summarized the major factors of project with Cause-Effective Matrix, and then discerned the factors to get the true critical project factors using the Hypothesis Testing, and improved the root causes. During the project improvement, we followed the DMAIC flow of Six Sigma with problem definition, problem management, problem analysis, problem improvement and problem control and finally validated the effectiveness. Meanwhile, MINITAB software was applied to analyze measurement data effectively and scientifically。Finally, finished the project successfully and orderly, and reach the goad which was set up by management team.
