With the rapid economic development and social progress in China,the construction industry has become a pillar industry of national economic development.Construction quality management,as one of the important elements of the whole process of construction projects,has received wide attention in recent years.To do a good job in construction quality management and improve construction quality is an inevitable requirement for construction engineering units to improve their output value and efficiency.Construction quality management is difficult due to the characteristics of construction construction projects such as complex subjects of interest,projects shaped in one go,long construction cycle and high mobility of construction personnel.In order to reduce the incidence of construction quality accidents in construction projects,the level of construction quality management work should be effectively improved.This thesis takes the construction quality management of the C residential construction project as the research object,and carries out research on the improvement of construction quality management in the second phase of the C residential construction project based on the theoretical basis of Six Sigma management and the current situation of construction quality management in the first phase of the C residential construction project.Firstly,the current situation of the C residential construction project is analysed to uncover the many problems that exist in the current construction quality management situation.The work breakdown structure(WBS)and resource breakdown structure(RBS)were used to identify the main quality influencing factors in each phase of construction,and the indicators of each quality influencing factor were assigned weights using hierarchical analysis(AHP)combined with literature research and expert interviews to filter out the key quality influencing factors and determine the weights of the indicators of each construction quality influencing factor.Secondly,based on the analysis of the current situation of construction quality management and the influencing factors of the C residential construction project,the Six Sigma construction quality management improvement study was carried out with the example of foundation works,where the construction quality influence of the C residential construction project exists more widely.Finally,in order to consolidate the improvement effect of the Six Sigma management method on construction quality management,the author has taken a whole process perspective to control the improvement effect and extended the three-stage analysis method of "before-during-after",which is commonly used in the construction stage,to the whole process of engineering construction,and has provided guarantees for the optimisation of the construction quality management process from four aspects:organisation,technology,economy and resources.It also provides guarantee measures for optimising the construction quality management process from four aspects:organisation,technology,economy and resources.The results of the study show that the combination of WBS-RBS and AHP can effectively analyse construction quality impact factors,identify construction quality impact factors and assign weights to construction quality impact factor indicators.In terms of the overall quality level,the second phase of the C residential construction project has significantly improved compared to the other two comparison projects,reducing costs and increasing efficiency,and achieving the project quality improvement target,which proves that Six Sigma management has good application effect in construction project quality management;the whole process quality management guarantee has consolidated the quality improvement results.Overall,this thesis proposes improvement ideas for construction quality management in construction projects,enriching the existing literature while providing a reference for solving quality management problems in engineering construction projects.
