| Reactive power optimization is an important measure to ensure the security of power system and to improve the quality and economic efficiency of power supply. Under the construction of abstemious society, electric enterprises pay more attention to energy-saving and loss reduction work. The importance of reactive power optimization has been paid more and more attention for the concern of decreasing the power loss of power system and increasing the stability of power system. In recent years, serious voltage reliability problems and reactive power problems have been brought by the high-speed economic development in Shanghai Minhang area. It is of great significance to study the reactive power problem in Shanghai Minhang Grid and hence to improve the level of reactive power-voltage situation and the operating efficiency of Minhang area grid with suitable technical measures.In this paper, status of the reactive power and voltage problem in Shanghai Minhang grid is analysed and optimal suggestions are pointed out. The paper focuses on volatage and reactive power optimized control technology(VQC auto-control-installation), gives the recommendations and requirements for further VQC application. The work done in this paper has positive to improve the reactive power construction and voltage level of urban distribution network.First of all, the history of reactive power optimization research is introduced. Various types of voltage control and reactive power devices are introduced. Then,current reactive power optimization algorithms and related constraints are listed. The principle of reactive compenstation, capacity and operation program of the compensation equipments is summarized. Status of the reactive power and voltage problem in Shanghai Minhang Grid is described and the reasons to cause the problem are pointed out. Corresponding suggestions to imrpove the reactive power and voltage operation are presented.Following, the principle development and application of VQC auto-control-installation are introduced herein. Taking Minhang Power Supply Company as example, the setting value on VQC should be corrected and improved in order to satisfy the system requirements of approaching the best performance, avoiding vibration in a certain area and no frequent actions. It can qualify the grid voltage and realize the local reactive power balancing.Finally, the paper concern on the low utilization of reactive compensation device in low voltage distribution network, especially the reactive compensation level on power customers which are not installed passive power filter and reactive power compensation equipment. Technical support is offered and the economical technical plan is presented in order to solve these problems. |
