The Movable Scaffolding System (MSS for short) is a construction equipment which is assembled at a bridge site, to complete the installation of span by span girders. Segment Installation Method is often used during the construction. But conventional MSS adopt the large-scale steel box girder for main truss chord, heavier structural members, larger volume, approach and the transitions are more difficult, low recycle use rate. So in this paper take the reality engineering background of 64m segmental installed box-girder in Xishan Temple bridge construction as an example, proposed design concept, works principle and construction process of the 64m Type-87 Rush-repair Gieder MSS, and use the finite element method to simulation analyse for it. Mainly for the following work:(1) Sum up development process, actual research, development trends and technology gap of the technology and equipment at home and abroad, and statistics of MSS used in bridge construction at home.(2) In the case of lacking MSS uniform standards and design specifications, combination of several Chinese design specifications to design and check it, for provide a good reference and consultable value to the future design of MSS.(3) For the construction process and project background of MSS, various loads separately, and list all the load combinations, and checked the intensity,stiffness and resistance to overturning of MSS in this load combinations.(4) After the calculation, the bearing capacity is affluent, deformation and resistance to overturning meet the challenge during construction phase and forward phase.(5) In the future, should calculate and analyse the gusset based on this article, optimum structure in order to erect optional span of a bridge within the restriction span, and erect a bridge of greater span.
