Highway Network Optimization Research Based On The Transportation Demand

In order to solve the contradictions between supply and need of highway transportation effectively, and to avoid wasting construction sources and road facilities, it is requisite to set down scientific and systematic highway network planning. To make the study of highway network planning theory well and use it to guide practical construction, which is the precise and foundation of developing our highway transportation. With the development of the society economics and transport, the demand to highway network planning increases continuously, which make it especially imperious to study the imperfect highway network planning theory deeply.In the basis of transportation theory, using the current situation and developing trend of China's highway transportation as background, and other findings about highway network layout optimization as reference, this paper analyzes and studies the highway network layout optimization theory, which are important part of highway network planning theory, with the method of domestic and international comparative analysis, and integrating qualitative and quantitative analysis. Firstly, the basic theory of transport demand is mainly discussed, and the existing transport demand theory is also learned and integrated. Then this paper approaches the concept and nature of the transport demand constructively. Secondly, to solve the problem of the highway network line in the basis of transport demand, this paper gives full consideration in the node of great traffic, and the potential node in the transport demand. Finally, aiming at the flaw of without establishing layout optimization model according to the hierarchy of highway network, this paper establishes highway network layout bi-level planning mode, and applies the four factors method in the model, making adjustments to get close to the actual transport demand. In short, the highway network optimization research based on the transportation demand is helpful for developing the function of the highway network, solving the question of unblocked and arrived traffic, and better adapting to the development of national economy and society.
