As an important national infrastructure, the main artery of the national economy and popular means of transportation, railway plays an important role in modern transport system. Accompany with the development of social economy, the railway has formed a variety of formats; the development of regional economic integration also affects the development of railway transportation industry. To solve the above problems, the layout optimization method of the railway network needs to further improve. Therefore, this paper conclude and analyze the domestic and foreign research results, according to the research results, the paper makes a thorough analysis to the layout optimization method of the railway network. Specific research contents and innovation points include:According to the classic method, analyze and summarize transport survey methods and demand forecasting method by combing with network characteristics.The traffic survey mainly adopts data analysis and field research method to investigate the railway transport demand and supply of railway transportation. The survey contents the social economic foundation information, the exchange of railway passenger and freight transport flows, accessibility, the arrangement of transportation and railway supply quantity. The demand forecasting method uses the first three stages of the classic "four stages" method, including trip generation forecasting methods, distribution methods and modes of travel division.The hierarchical layout method is proposed based on graph theory. From the railway network mathematical expression and computer expression, the Sequential allocation method is proposed according to the different railway transport objects,based on the incremental assignment method. According to the different transports,the railway network was divided into freight line, passenger line and passenger and freight mixed transportation line. According to the degree of difficult distribution,freight lines are firstly devided, then freight lines through communication are secondly devided by separating from the total cargo volume. The passenger volumefrom the passenger line is devided according to the percentage. Finally, the passenger and freight mixed transportation lines are devided by summing the rest of freight and passenger traffic.Once again, the hierarchical layout method was developed based on the basic principle of graph theory. Analysis the influence factors of the regional rail network layout and the characteristics of the regional rail network, based on the graph theory method, puts forward the hierarchical layout method, respectively to the backbone,the basic network, passenger special network and freight special network layout. First of all, the node important degree of each zone is calculated, and then using the hierarchical classification method to a hierarchy of nodes, then the Closed loop method used the layout of the backbone, multicenter closed loop method used for basic network layout, traffic analysis method for the layout of the passenger special network, freight special network layout by the analysis of the sources and transport of bulk cargo, making all levels of network stack compared with the current rail network,to further determine the line type, getting ideal long-term regional railway network.Finally, Multiple distribution is proposed based on saturation size, gradually tighten network optimization method. According to the ideal network for the first time distribution to the add a line, the purpose is to make network line saturation is not greater than 1, then do distribution, the smallest saturation lines deletion of successive, redistribution, so the cycle, which gained no unnecessary lines and can meet the demand of railway transportation network in future.In addition, Example analysis are planted in each chapter, thus to prove the feasibility of research methods.The innovation points of this paper:(1) successive distribution method based on incremental distribution method;(2) hierarchical layout method based on the graph theory method;(3) multiple distribution, gradually tighten network optimization method. The above innovative points combined with other classic methods of steps to form a complete set of regional railway layout optimization method, and the classical method compared to the method proposed in this paper is more suitable to the current railway multi standard, regional economic integration.
