The Study On The Planning And Design Of The Landscape Reconstruction And Expansion In Historical And Cultural Park

Historical and Cultural Park is the unity of the landscape and culture, containing rich historical and cultural information. In its long development process, Historical and Cultural Park in our country has taken on a "comprehensive aging" phenomenon, because there are some accumulated problems over many years,for example the outdated facilities, lack of capacity, which cause it difficult to meet the needs of modern people's leisure activities and aesthetic needs in the function and form. Extension is an important way to settle this contradiction, and many problems that can not be ignored come out in the implementation process. How to solve these problems for the purpose of a reasonable extension in historical and cultural park, will directly affect sustainable development of Historical and Cultural Park in China.At first, this paper analyzes the cultural connotation, landscape features and style features in Historical and Cultural Park, and also introduces functions to the culture of display, protection of inheritance and transmission of education in Historical and Cultural Park. Then starting with researching the common problems, such as neglect of age spirit, region spirit, staged authenticity spirit and poor convergence of landscape in the implementation process, it analyzes three main reasons for these problems:poor knowledge of culture in the modern landscape, lack of mining and expression to deep historical and cultural significance, weak protection and management to history of landscape. At the same time, economic and cultural factors affecting extension are also analyzed in the paper.Combining with the results of investigation and research, the article not only studies the landscape planning and design strategy in the extension of Historical and Cultural Park, but also summarizes some principles including integrity principle, protection principle, absorbable principle and people-oriented principle. Besides, it proposes the techniques which include the fabric of heritage sites, placing memory retention, continuing the historic context. Finally, it puts the summarized theory in the Extension of historical and cultural park into practical projects of Changsha Tianxin Park Extension Landscape Planning and Design, to further test the theory and design techniques.According to these above theories, principles and techniques of planning and design practices, I put forward a strategy for guidance to how to avoid the loss of traditional culture so as to improve the park's cultural connotation in projects of Changsha Tianxin Park Extension Landscape Planning and Design. Furthermore, the article makes a theoretical exploration in how to resolve conflicts between conservation and development of traditional culture. I hope this theory summary has referential value to related issues emerging in the process of reconstruction and extension of other Historical and Cultural Parks so that it can play a role in social practice.
