In recent years, with the rapid development of our economy, bridge construction has made great achievements, maintenance servicing, health assessment and reconstruction for existing bridges has gradually become one of the most important problems that are being discussed by engineers and scholars at home and abroad. Based on summarizing domestic and foreign results about the health assessment of existing bridges, more research on the health assessment of city existing concrete beam bridge has been accomplished in this thesis.Firstly, the paper overview the connotation and sense of health assessment of existing bridges, summarize the characteristics and status of the city concrete girder bridge,summarize and review the status of research on existing assessment method at home and abroad, description the content and process of the existing bridge for the city health assessment;Secondly, the theory of the analytical hierarchy process(AHP) and fuzzy synthetical judgment were introduced, by studing the measure against the lost efficacy in fuzzy synthetical judgement, it has been pointed out that the arithmetic, which operates the fuzzy synthetical calculation with the operator of product and summation, is fit for the assessment of bridge, which will lay a foundation for the establishment of the health assessment of existing bridges.Then, a hierarchy health assessment model is established based on the systematic analysis of existing city concrete beam bridge, and the weight of bottom indexes are worked out. By analyzing the data in existence and the interrelated criterion, a comprehensive standards for confirm bottom indexes'grade vector of health assessment were built up.And then, according to theory and method of the previous discoursed, with their own characteristics of city concrete girder bridges, established the electronic archives of city concrete girder bridge health assessment, and draw the flow chart for health assessment of city concrete girder bridge;Finally, using fuzzy synthetically judgment based AHP proposed by this thesis, eleven concrete beam bridges'health assessment are given to prove methods in the thesis are scientific, simple and feasible, the assessment results are reasonable.
