Along with the increasing of the bridge service life, more and more bridges are probably dangerous due to a various of reasons that seriously threaten the life of people and cause heavy economic losses. In order to make sure the security of the bridge, we must assess and analyze the current health status of bridges through comprehensive test and state evaluation effectively, especially the scientific method. Judging the work state of entire bridge structure is evaluated and identified,in time for the bridge between the management,conservation,maintenance and reinforcement to provide a scientific and reliable basis for decision-making,ensure the safe operation of bridges and the road network to maintain a higher level of service,play a larger economic and social benefits.This article is based on the test result on one reinforced concrete beam bridge in Changsha and make a summarize about how to judge the bridge security home and abroad, assessing the work state of bridge compared with in being judgment and used the method which is recommended by Code for Maintenance of Highway Bridges and Culvers, analytic hierarchy process, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. The contents include several aspects as follows:(1) Hierarchy model of Reinforced Concrete Bridge are constructed according to the results of the tested bridge. The method of analytic hierarchy process is used to compute the weight of component of the bridge, and compared the weight to recommend of the Code for Maintenance of Highway Bridges and Culvers, so as to analysis the weight got from the two method can reflect the affection to the bridge more objective.(2)According to the result of bridge detection, assessing the health status of the whole bridge through fuzzy comprehensive evaluation combining with the weight recommended by Code for Maintenance of Highway Bridges and Culvers, then studying the difference of this result and the assessment that attained from Code for Maintenance of Highway Bridges and Culvers.(3)Making use of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to assess bridge, combine with the weight from analytic hierarchy process and Code for Maintenance of Highway Bridges and Culvers and compare their contrast.(4)Building the single-stage fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and multi-stage fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate the bridge, and compare between the pros and cons of the each other.
