As an important testing equipment for national force measurement and test, the primary force standard machine reproduces force on force sensor by specific way for testing the technical indicators of sensor. Along with social development and advancement of science and technology, the indicators of accuracy and stability on the traditional primary force standard machine has not meet the demand of force measurement and test. This paper based on analyzing the principle of work of the traditional primary force standard machine, found the defects of greater force impact, lower stability and less weights combined series when loading weights and uninstalling weights on the traditional primary force standard machine, that affect the testing accuracy and stability directly. For this purpose, this paper designed a new method——loading weights respectively and continuously manner, and designed the device for improving the primary force standard machine accuracy and stability, and using limited weights to realize stepless loading.Based on analyzing the principle and processing of work of the traditional primary force standard machine, analyzing the different loading manner, and summarizing its relative merits, this paper designed loading weights respectively and continuously manner and loading device. In the design of loading device, it used the mechanical flexible system and machine adaptive system for decreasing force impact, guaranteeing stability, and realizing stepless loading. In theory, the paper proved the feasibility about this loading manner through static analysis and motion analysis. Then, this paper received the force change curve when loading weights through computer simulation experiment. That proved the feasibility about this loading manner from experiment. Finally, this paper overall planned the control system based on the loading weights respectively and continuously of the primary force standard machine demanding. In the control system, it used servo control technology to guarantee the higher accuracy, and used PLC and configuration software to increase the system stability and operability.This paper proved the feasibility about the loading weights respectively and continuously of the primary force standard machine from theory and experiment. The manner has well operating results. It changed the traditional primary force standard machine loading manner at all, and improved operating results greatly. This loading manner provided a new theoretical method for the technology development of the primary force standard machine. It had significant value to the progress of force measuring technology.
