As an important equipment for force measurement and test, force measurement machine reproduces force on force sensor by some way, achieving the purpose of measuring force sensor. Among a wide range of force measuring machines, the dead force measuring machine adopts gravity as the source of force reproducing. With the advantages of relatively simple structure, high accuracy beyond others, it has been viewed as National Primary Force Standard Machine, widely used in measurement, defense, manufacturing and other fields.In practical applications, dead force standard machine make all kinds of force by different combinations of small number of weights. In the increasing sequence of loading weights, "Return" happens when the force temporary decreases, and "Forward" appears when the force temporary increases. Both of them show the inevitable phenomenon of "reverse-way" in the process of loading weight. Besides, the linear relationship between the output of force sensor and the increment of force, as well as factors like material, structural design of elastomer, the out of force sensor is hysteretic. Therefore, the phenomenon of "reverse -way" is bad for the result of measuring.For eliminating the impact of "reverse-way" on force sensor, this thesis will do an research on the design of mechanical structure, the method of loading & unloading weights and whole project of Primary Force Standard Machine in-depth. Firstly, this thesis analyzed the current development of Force Standard Machine. Secondly, this paper introduced the principle of Force Standard Machine, the workflow of sensor detection and mechanical structure. Thirdly, by illuminating three kinds of typical standard machines, this thesis introduced their structures and work methods, emphasizing on the analysis of their ways of weight exchange, as well as their advantages and disadvantages. On this basis, we bring forward a new program to meet all measuring needs of Force Standard Machine. Meanwhile, we built a force model of weight by analyzing of the force of weight, discussing the process of loading weights and exchange force of weight in this process. We calculated the value of system Elastic deformation during loading weight, and found out the key of the impact of "reverse-way" on measuring, thus got a control method for loading weights in groups with a smoothly curve of loading weight when "reverse-way" happened. Under new project we provide, we also proposed some formulate for the control of loading weights. In order to improve the efficiency of the system, we analyzed the velocity of loading weight. At last, we discussed the total control project, the structure of control system and a principle for system design. Simulation proved the efficiency and feasibility of the control method we proposed.
