| Electrical energy becomes a very important part in today's national economy and people's life with the development of social economy. This paper studies and designs a kind of intelligent ammeter in the system of electric energy management targeting the situation of electric using of Hefei University of Technology. This ammeter is designed based on single-chip computer technology. It can advance the service efficiency of electrical energy and build conservation oriented school. This intelligent ammeter has high measurement accuracy and overload capacity, high stability compared with traditional ammeter. It also has a lot of advantages such as small volume, light weight, dependable performance and multi function.This thesis elaborates how to design and realize the single-phase and three-phase ammeter. This design plan takes P89LPC9401 as the core and adopts ADE7758 and ADE7755. The electric current and voltage get through the transformer. The electric energy measurement chip can complete the A/D and V/F transposition and low pass filtering. This chip can output the pulsing signal which is proportional to the instantaneous power. The single chip can deal with the data come from the ADE7758 and ADE7755. This electric data can be displayed on LCD.The hardware design adopts modulated scheme. This scheme is composed with MCU, electric energy measurement, keyboard entry, LCD, electrical power supply and 485 communication. Accordingly, the design plan of the software also adopts the modulated scheme. The causation and the solution of disturb are also introduced in this article.This kind of ammeter takes centralized installment. The intelligent app gateway can communicate with the PC by batch recording the data of ammeter according to communication protocols reliably. This ammeter can realize real-time measurement of each department's situation of the electric using. And the PC can monitor and manage the ammeter through the app gateway.
