Tire Pressure Monitoring System is a new automotive electronics for improved vehicle safety. Mainly used for keep the tire pressure and temperature in a standard range through provided a real-time tire pressure monitoring and alerts the driver to improperly tires, reduce the economic losses. Because of continued development of electronic technology makes the car becoming more electrified, only the Central control system uses the embedded technology can achieve all function. This paper designed a TPMS based on the Embedded Technology, the main research content and innovation as follows:(1) Design and realize a Tire Pressure Monitoring System based on the Embedded Technology, analyzes the impact of pressure and temperature on tires and discussing the common technical programs, give the architecture of Tire Pressure Monitoring System. Guiding principle of modular to design and implementation the system, select chips that can adapt the harsh environment inside tire, design the hardware circuit and relevant software flow chart, improve the efficiency of the system development.(2) Design the tire monitoring module, RF module, power conversion, the central control module, serial communications, LCD interfaces and touch screen interface circuit, in accordance with the requirements of the system to design software, once the central control module receives the data, showing tire pressure and temperature information on LCD. If the system exception occurs, display the tire information system through the interactive interface, and at the same time, buzzer alarm, the system can achieve the purpose monitoring the tire state in real-time.(3) Built a TPMS prototype, test each module's function. Take temperature measurement, pressure measurement, wireless communication and alarm display experiments, analysis the results of the experiment, the results show that this system can monitor tire pressure and temperature changes, the whole system is running well, meet China's "tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS)" standards' requirements.(4) In this paper, through the embedded technology-based tire pressure monitoring system design and implementation, reduce the loss of life and property caused by the tire abnormal states. At the same time, solve the conflicts between current high level of vehicle electrification and the cab limited space. The central monitor based on Arm9 embedded technology, after with the operating system, facilitate the integration of vehicle communications, navigation and display system, reduce the Information exchange, provide a more intuitive understanding way to get information for drivers.
