In order to reduce traffic accidents by effectively preventing tire puncture,we designed a car tire pressure monitoring system(TPMS),which is an active safety technology in automotive electronics.It can monitor both pressure and temperature of the tire in real time.After the data is acquired and processed by the MCU,it is transmitted through the wireless transmitter module.The data is then received and displayed by the receiver,where the received data is compared with a set of standard air pressure or temperature data.If it is out of range,an alarm warning will begiven.Therefore,it can prevent the explosion of automobile tires and ensure the safety of life and property of passengers and drivers.We have designed a high performance,low power TPMS based on STM32 microcontroller.The system focuses on the data acquisition and transmission module.The system hardware uses the MPXY8020A integrated sensor chip to measure temperature and pressure values.The high-precision three-axis accelerometer ADXL345 is used to measure the tire acceleration and the wheel angle change value.Finally,the high-frequency nRF24L01 transceiver RF chip is used to realize wireless transmission of data,with long transmission distance and strong anti-interference ability.The software mainly focuses on the underlying driver of MPXY8020A.When collecting data,it uses a dichotomy principle and successive cycle comparisons were performed.Not only is data collection efficient,but the results are accurate and reliable.For the wireless transceiver module,it performs CRC check,improving the reliability and security of data transmission.Moreover,the power consumption of the system is considered.When the car is not moving,the system enters a low power mode.At the same time,the data collected by the MPXY8020A built-in temperature sensor and the STM32 built-in temperature sensor were used for comparative study.The data receiving and display module is connected to the computer by the USART serial port.Useing the serial port debugging assistant to display the data,and uses the buzzer to realize the data alarm.After testing the system,it can accurately complete the functions of the system.The test results demonstrate the safety and reliability of the system.
