Study On The Installation Guidelines Of Wood-Plastic Composite Flooring

The service life of wood-plastic composite flooring(WPC flooring) is directly affected by installation. Incorrectly installation will lead to distortion and cracking of WPC flooring. The speed of the application of WPC flooring is much faster than the speed of its research. Currently the research on the installation of WPC flooring is sorely lacking ,and is in urgent need of a guide specification.Therefore studying on the system of installation guidelines is of great significance.This thesis discussed the installation steps and guidelines of wood-plastic composite flooring(WPC flooring), comparing the similar and different ways of installing WPC flooring at home and abroad.It could be divided into eight parts as follows:1. In the foreword, it discussed the feature, application, current research situation of WPC . the purpose, significance, contents , methods and specialties of this subject.2. It discussed the preparation of WPC flooring installation, including unloading, storage and handing; expansion and contraction; ventilation; cutting and drilling; materials calculating; tools ; size of WPC flooring and so on.3. It discussed the installation methods, design and spacing comparison of joist.4. Mainly discussed the installation steps and fixing methods of solid board, including flate join flooring and clip join flooring.5. Discussed the installation methods of hollow WPC flooring in various section shapes, including hollow board with ordinary section shape , hollow board with perimeter strips and feature strips, hollow board with special section shape. In addition, it compared the the advantages and disadvantages of different kinds of hollow boards.6. Discussed the WPC flooring used in stairways and the matters exact attention.7. The matters exact attention during the installation includes ventilation, the method to butt seam and replace boards, comparison of board gaps, board maintenance and so on.8. Drawing a draft of WPC flooring installation guidelines according to the format of national standard.
