Cable system is the most important part of the cable-stayed bridge, the current cable-stayed bridge in service longer exist in some degree of cable resistance deterioration,this gives the overall structure of the use has security implications.In recent decades, researchers and engineers are actively exploring the health monitoring of cable and assess the extent of the use of safe methods.In this paper,according to the structure characteristics of cable-stayed bridge and under the existing structural reliability theory,reasonable use of finite element and numerical analysis software,and then after this analyze the reliability of the cable system of cable-stayed bridge.The detail as the following:1.Through a literature review process and a comprehensive nationwide survey,research the current system reliability of cable-stayed bridge.Combining study the reliability theory,selected for the specific research methods in this paper,determine to choose JC method for calculating the reliability of single component,and finally use of theβ-unzipping method about cable system reliability analysis.2.Based on the Runyang cable-stayed bridge,according to the design and major technical standards of the bridge,build the 3-D physical model of the bridge in ANSYS;both progamming the JC method in the numerical analysis software MATLAB.At last adjust the finite element model of the bridge and calibration JC method program,to get them can achieve the accuracy requirements of this paper.3.Calculated the cable reliability of half bridge based onβ-unzipping,and analysis in the standard system of cables in level 0 and 1 under the condition of the component failure mode and its failure,finish preliminary determination on the system reliability.Delete the failure cable,re-load and calculate the reliability of the cable,eventually generate based on theβ-unzipping about the failure tree,comprehensive evaluation of the system reliability about the cable of bridge.4.Analysis of the mechanical properties of cable,to the smallest unit of cable - wire starting point for research,analyze the cable damage because of its corroded or broken wire. Through the experience and research results given the probability model of cable resistance deterioration,and caculate the system reliability when the cable is damaged.Summarize cable-stayed bridge health monitoring system and analyzes the operation mode of the monitoring system of Runyang cable-stayed bridge.
