This paper is mainly based on the practical need of harbor management administration, toward the monitoring of dredging barge's loading conditions. In view of the related large ships'monitoring equipments and methods can not be directly applied to dredging barges, based on the information of barge's location and draft change, it establishes monitoring model of dredging barge's loading conditions. It can solve the current domestic loading conditions monitor issue of dredging barges and other similar mini type vessels. Effective monitoring of dredging barge's loading conditions, not only can help people understand the real loading conditions of dredging barge, but also help harbor management administration identify the violate behavior. They can judge the dredging barge is randomly dumping sediment or not.The thesis combines the research projects on Xiamen City science and technology plan, takes Xiamen Port dredging barges as monitored objects. It collects and filters on the ship's draft changes information and GPS position information, then on the theoretical analysis and practical tests, it realizes the monitor of dredging barge's loading conditions.Firstly, according to the background of research projects and the status quo in domestic and abroad, this thesis summarizes the monitoring equipments and methods of large ships'loading conditions presently, analyses the monitoring of dredging barge's loading conditions, compares the distinction between the large ships and dredging barges, and then introduces the information acquisition devices and acquisition principles, in connection with the dredging barge's loading conditions monitoring, proposes research programs and technical line. It can provide theoretical basis for the continual research in follow-up content.Secondly, on the basis of theoretical analysis, combining the research on project and related references, analyses the model of interference factors, which affects barge's draft changes on the sea, searches for the formation causes and characteristics of interference factors, such as the ocean current, ship's cyclical swing, water density outboard, discovers the influence rules of these factors. Meanwhile, with regard to the barge's draft changes data and location data, it studies the filtering methods, introduces the approaches of signal error, mean and trend processing, recursive average filtering and data smoothness combination and so on.Again, through preliminary research, gains the reference data of dredge barge, combining with the laboratory simulation data, proposes some preliminary monitoring model of the dredging barge's loading conditions (full, half, empty), using comprehensive evaluation of fuzzy mathematics theory and mathematical statistics theory. Moreover uses simulation tool MATLAB to simulate and analyze, and then take follow-up research trial to verify the monitoring model.Lastly, introduces the system programming of the whole loading conditions monitoring system, as well as the design of hardware and software, and verifies the effect of monitoring model,in virtue of the practical application of dredging barge's loading conditions monitoring system in Xiamen port. The research result shows that the system basically fulfils the operation needs of harbor management administration for monitoring dredging barge's loading conditions at the same time, It provides the data basic for improvement of the model in the future.Based on the comprehensive judgment of the information of draft changes and GPS barge position, this article researches the monitoring model of dredging barge's loading conditions. It provides harbor management administration with scientific monitoring methods, which can help realize the dredging barge's loading conditions and movement rule in time, and prevents the dredging barge from overloading or dumping silt randomly. It improves the normalization of harbor dredging operations, and increases the monitoring efficiency of dredging barges. At the same time, it provides scientific and reliable data support for monitor evidence, Aim at other similar mini type vessels such as dredging barge, it also provides some necessary basis research for more mature research on the monitoring model for the future.
