Youhao concentrating mill in Fichun is located near forested areas in Lesser Khingan Mountains,55 km distant from the supply station, which causes that 10KV high voltage line cannot help but adopt long-distance transmission beyond economic radius of 10KV power supply line. Therefore many issues are brought to the power supply system.As a result of network loss and receiving end voltage droop which happen during the long distance transmission through power system caused by reactive power, plenty of reactive power transmitting through power system necessarily greatly reduce the PUE and severely influence the quality of supply, which gets the larger power motor of the mill unable to startup and put into operation normally, which brings about tremendous economic loss. On the basis of the issue the article analyzes and puts forward feasibility proposal of installing high voltage SVC at the proper position of power system.The article mainly studies the improvement of power system capability by SVC, SVC control mode and theories, hardware & software design of controller. The system adopts AT89S52, the highest cost performance in the market as hardware to control, which has the characters of high control operation speed and fine real time ability. In software adopting C Programming and following blocking design principle improve system popularity and maintenance simplicity. In switching principles, compared to the common ninearea map control solution, combining the actual situation of the scene reasoning algorithm of Integrated control for reactive voltagein fussy is designed avoiding light load oscillation, repeated switching etc. For the sake of achieving the function that should be owned by the equipment the paper designs and makes rather complete control circuit and hardware circuit of peripheral equipment. They include trigger circuit, display circuit, watchdog timer, keyboard circuit etc. In the paper, the control program of the whole control system is also compiled showing the structured flowchart of the control software. In the end, the paper analyzes the achievement of the SVC function according to the on-the-spot running situation of the system and puts forward the deficiencies of the dynamic SVC and improving methods.
