In recent years, under the Prompting of the manufacturing technology and information technology, research on assembly design and planning has made a remarkable progress. With the global and network's development of the manufacturing, virtual manufacturing technique becomes more important than ever. Virtual design, virtual manufacturing, virtual assembly etc. As 21 centuries of new manufacturing strategy have already attracted more and more attentions of universities, research institutes and enterprises, and these have become one of the key technologies in the new century of manufacturing.Assembly Technique Planning is the important content of Virtual Assembly, which have a profound meaning in enhancing the quality of product, reducing the price and shortening the period of produce. The paper is based on the Assembly Sequence Planning, and has the further research on virtual assembly models, assembly models and Assembly Sequence Planning, foundation of assembly model and its solution. In this thesis the mixed model structure is adopted to establish assembly model and the method is applied which is based on the initiative assembly sequence on assembly model solution. Concrete work is as follows:Firstly, the paper expatiated the main contents of virtual assembly, basic flow and the key technologies. It proposed the assembly information models basing on structure of the former tree dimension graphs. Assembly level tree, assembly relational graphs, it proposed delaminating assembly sequence cut-set method.Secondly, the paper explains the mixture structure and expatiates the principles of subassembly's classification, and designs a programming solution for assembly sequence planning module, a rule-based assembly planning method is introduced to set up the program structure which utilizes the assembly information model as input model and cam finish assembly process planning by assembly structure analyzing, and introduced its contents in detail. This module integrated knowledge and experience of the process technician successfully to assembly sequence planning.Thirdly, the paper based on the programming solution for assembly sequence planning module, use the C real it and get the outcome.Finally, this paper set up assembly sequences model and finished the simulation of the assembling process, and confirms its feasibility.
