The Automated Mechanical Transmission (AMT) is a newly developmental transmission technology and it catches researchers'attentions in many countries recently. The development of AMT technology for energy conservation, reduce pollution and improve drive safety is of great significance, and the AMT is particularly suitable the situation of our country in which manual mechanical transmission in the highest flight. The study of AMT has been invested a lot of power at home and abroad, and also a lot of good results have been made, but there are still a number of key issues which need to be resolved. Given some of the key issues for AMT, following aspects of work has been done in this paper:Vehicle power-train model has been researched and established. It creates the premise for intelligent shift control which based on human-vehicle-road closed-loop system.Basic shift rules of the AMT vehicle have been researched. The characteristics of single-parameter, double-parameters and tri-parameters shift rules have been analyzed. And using double-parameters shift rules to determine the shift rules for optimal power performance and the shift rules for optimal economic performance.The relationship of human-vehicle-road closed-loop system has been researched. The divers'intentions and vehicle running environment recognition methods which based on fuzzy theory have been testified through testing, and it is the foundation of the achievement of intelligent shift control which based on human-vehicle-road closed-loop system.AMT synthetic shift control system has been provided; research on the shift rules for optimal performance which on the basis of vehicle condition, drivers'intentions and road environment, modified power shift rules have been established under each special drivers'intentions and road conditions; and AMT synthetic shift control system has been simulated and analyzed.In a word, this paper has a deep research on the AMT shift control system which based on human-vehicle-road closed loop system, and lots of knowledge and conclusions have been obtained. The research achievements this paper obtained not only improve the AMT performance, but have an important meaning for advancing AMT production.
