Grid dispatching is a key sector for the power system operation, the power grid dispatching automation system is also called Energy Management System (EMS), based on a modern computer technology-based integrated automation system, electric power, mainly for large district and provincial power grid , the municipal power grid dispatching centers, primarily to provide power dispatching management of a variety of real-time information, as well as power management and control of scheduling decisions to ensure the safe operation of power grid and improve the quality and improve the power grid to run the economy. As China's power system development and raise the level of automation, different dispatching centers EMS systems need to exchange information, but in general, these EMS systems not necessarily from the uniform supplier, is often a typical heterogeneous environment, give the power application systems integration and integrated management has brought about tremendous inconvenience. To address this issue of uniform standards, the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is responsible for power system control and communications standards of the 57th Technical Committee (IEC TC 57) in the 1990 years against the EMS made IEC61970 series of standards , in which information exchange for the power grid model clearly put forward a common information model (CIM) standard. For the CIM research predecessors have done a lot of exploration, and for the power system based on CIM interoperability study image has only just begun, end IEC61970 recommended Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) as a standard specification, so , how in the power system, the use of visual information exchange CIM / SVG standard, has become a hot topic. This research work commissioned mainly to complete a bit of work:1,A specific substation SVG file, object-oriented technology, respectively, from two different analytical methods DOM and SAX start to explore the SVG document in the power system of interactive graphics applications, and programming basically realized SVG elements in the document to add, modify, delete and search functions.2,Analyzed and explained based on CIM standards for the interoperability of grid model, combined with an instance of a provincial power grid proprietary format, the establishment of CIM-based power system files to a total of SVG graphics file format conversion model.3,In the CIM-based tree data structure analysis, study of substation stand this level of power system visualization, in particular, 500KV power substation and the topological connections between the design of a layout algorithm, makes a number of nodes can be well distributed in an orderly manner diagram.
