Research On BOM Multi-view Mapping Model For The Ship Construction Process

In the shipbuilding enterprise information application process, due to the low level of information sharing of sectoral systems, a problem about the information island appears, to a large extent which restricts the improvement of the efficiency of ship construction. The purpose of this study is to explore the method to solve the problem about the information island in shipbuilding enterprises from the technical point of BOM.Firstly,this paper summarized BOM and BOM multi-view maps theory. Secondly, based on the theoretical basis, from the product life-cycle perspective, combined with organizational characteristics of shipbuilding production, BOM multi-view mapping process during the ship construction process is analyzed and explored, and summarized the law of BOM multi-view mapping. Then, based on the above analysis, the BOM construction of multi-view mapping model is built through the BOM view definition, the mapping rules to establish and algorithm design three steps. Finally, based on BOM multi-view mapping model, the effective mapping platform was established in order to achieve system integration of various departments, to a certain extent, and the "information isolated island" problem can be solved.The paper carries on research the following aspects.(1) On the basis of discussing BOM multi-view features of the various stages of ship construction, the entire mapping process of BOM multi-view is analyzed in depth. We can find, BOM multi-view mapping process is mainly reflected in regular convert of both the properties and structure, which is laid a theoretical foundation of BOM multi-view mapping model for the construction.(2) BOM multi-view mapping model for the ship construction process is built by introduction of formal modeling methodology, which achieves the entire enterprise information systems integration from the logical level. Firstly, on basis of the application of set theory to describe the structure of BOM view. Then on the basis of BOM multi-view formalized definition, from the properties and structure of the two-pronged, the corresponding rules are developed through the mathematical model. On basis of the mapping rules, a complete BOM multi-view mapping algorithm is designed. Finally, BOM multi-view mapping model for the whole ship construction process is built.(3) On basis of BOM multi-view mapping constructing a single source of product data (SSPD), an mapping platform based on the SSPD is established. The mapping platform implemented BOM multi-view mapping model on the physical level, which achieved system integration of various departments, and ensured good communication of the system information in various sectors and the consistency and integrity of BOM multi-view. And ultimately, the effective integration of various systems is achieved.This research results provide the shipbuilding enterprise with theoretical guidance and technical reference of development and implementation of BOM muti-view mapping platform. At the same time, this study also enriches the theory of domestic content on the BOM management, expanding the theoretical scope of application of the BOM with great theoretical significance.
