Research On BOM Multi-View Mapping Oriented Information Integration

Consistence integration of design, craftship and manufacturing is among the core factors as well as the trend in information field of distributed manufacturing enterprises. The information integration technology, as a kind of information integration method, provide key support for developing new types of vehicles, make full use of existed information and knowledge of the whole life cycle in automobile enterprise. Then combined with the method in knowledge management, we fulfill the knowledge representation, deducing and active push, make the enterprise enable to develop a new type of car quickly and correctly. In the same time we reduce the cost. The method has obtained the focus of more and more automobile enterprises.The paper based on the research of the management system for developing whole vehicle of Shanghai Maple Automobile Co. Ltd.(SMA), and obtain the support of National Science Foundation (50775140; 50575142; 60304015) and National Post-doctorate Science Foundation (20060400646). Aiming at the character of the enterprise, we develop the mapping system and KBMS and validate the accuracy and advance of the systems.The main research content of the paper is as following:The first chapter refers to the background, the status quo of research in relative fields of the two aspects of the research in the paper and the connection between the two aspects. We analysis the disadvantage in the automobile enterprises and their weak point in developing new types of cars. We aim at the existing disadvantage and propose the research content and the goal and meaning. The second chapter firstly introduces the relative conception and technology in PDM and ERP system. Then we discuss and technology and method in solving the integration between PDM and ERP, and make a comparison and analyses of them. According to the character of the automobile enterprise, we propose the total integration of the whole enterprise using BOM multi-view mapping.The third chapter focuses on the BOM multi-view mapping method, introducing the changement of BOM structure for mapping, and propose some new conception and use these conception in the model establishing. Make a plan of mapping rule and mapping code in order to be complete, correct and unique meaning.The fourth chapter focuses on the obtain method of the integrated information. Aiming at the obtain method in the whole life cycle of the automobile, we use the conception of knowledge base and knowledge management, adding describing information for the stored information, make the system enable to identify and deduce the new information, and provide the guidance and constrainment based on the workflow.In the fifth chapters, we combine the mapping system based on the integration of PDM and ERP and the knowledge expression, deducing, searching and actively pushing. Firstly we introduce the whole framework, including the developing base, the system structure and function module. Then we aim at the main function modules includeing operation-function, main function and main functional modules in KBMS and so on. In the end, we give the example of the system running.The sixth chapter summarizes the paper, analysis the advantage and disadvantage of the two systems, and propose the direction of the next step for improvement.
