Semiconductor lighting is the next generation green illumination light source. To the current lighting products, the existing test and evaluation are not based on accurate testing method, so they seriously affect the quality of semiconductor lighting products.In the semiconductor lighting test, luminous intensity distribution is the most important evaluation indicator. Because of large volume of data and high precision, it is also the most difficult physical test parameter. Therefore this paper researches the rapid and high precision measurement on high-power LED Lamps luminous intensity distribution to improve the quality of semiconductor lighting evaluation.This paper studies the problem used by experimental method. and by establish experimental system, it also analysis the test factors that affect luminous intensity distribution of high-power LED products, and bring forward the test scheme. then the design decision is implemented by hardware and software, and LED street lamps that made in Taiwan are tested under the test system, the results show that the test system reach a high level.In this thesis there are some results as follow:First, the test principle of luminous intensity distribution is discussed. And the existing test methods are compared. Last this paper proposes high-power LED product of luminous intensity distribution experiments.Then, in this paper it focuses on relationship between the test distance and luminous intensity distribution, and the result is that lamp is fully satisfied the requirement of point light sources, when the test distance is 10 times than the maximum size of lamp. Then the experimental system is set up. This paper analysis some aspects that affect the LED product testing accuracy, such as: fixed and rotating design of LED lamps, selection of photoelectric detectors, and the lamp geometric center consistent with the detector, stray light elimination, test preparation and operation and so on. Then the ways are proposed to minimize the test error, which made high-power LED luminous intensity distribution of product test solutions.Then, the test system is implemented by part of hardware such as the communication section, the control section, and the data collection and part of software such as serial communication, stepper motor control, and database. By this test system the LED streetlight is tested, and the result proves that the system is very accurate. Finally, this paper sums up the results of the luminous intensity distribution rapid high-precision testing of high-power LED product, and proposes directions for future improvements.
