Centrifugal pump has been widely used in the national economy for the reason that it has the characteristics of high efficiency, relatively broad performance range, simple structure, steady quality and easy to operate and maintain. However, in the process of development and leaving the factory of new product, we must adopt the method of hydraulic performance test to measure the relevant parameters and draw it into relational curves. Consequently, hydraulic performance test has critical role in the production and research development of centrifugal pump. The hydraulic performance test accuracy is comprehensively influenced by test unit, measurement and control system, experimental method, the way of data analysis and processing and so on, the study of the method to improve the overall test accuracy of centrifugal pump test system from the above aspects has important practical value and engineering significance.Through the analysis of the existing test technology and the summary of the projects the author participated in, this paper has studied respectively from the aspects of optimizing design of the experiment device, increasing the test precision of the measurement and control system and optimizing the experimental and data analysis method to improve the overall test accuracy of centrifugal pump test system.By analyzing the open and close test system of centrifugal pump, this paper studied in the method to improve the flow rate of the cross section of the test unit and pressure uniformity and reduce the adverse flow like whirlpool caused by devices from the point of engineering application, then proposed the method to improve the overall test accuracy by optimizing the design of the test system, finally carried out actual analysis and inspection based on the projects the author participated in.Designed the high precision measurement and control system based on PLC, studied the high precision test method of parameters of the centrifugal pump test system from these perspectives:method of measurement, instrument selection, anti-interference design and installation and calibration of instrument. Also designed the downhole electric submersible pump torque test system based on the wireless torque sensor. Consequently, the system solved these problems:difficult to pull wires on the shaft, serious electromagnetic interference during the long cable transmission of logging test and so forth.In addition, designed the frequency conversion dynamometer system used for high-precision electrical parameters test under complicated electromagnetic environment like AC power source, thus solved the problems like:conventional electric parameter measuring instrument cannot be used under complex electromagnetic environment, measurement precision is very low and electromagnetic interference is serious and so on. And the system performance was proved by the project instance in the paper.Researched and studied the centrifugal pump performance test based on the method of torque and electric logging, then proposed the method to increase the accuracy of centrifugal pump performance test from the perspective of test method and the engineering practice. Through the analyze of the centrifugal pump cavitation test of constant flow method, this paper presented a cavitation method which had made a full use of the computer real-time data acquisition and data processing function and it was based on centrifugal pump cavitation of variable flow method,. In addition, the method was verified that it can increase the efficiency of cavitation test dramatically and has a high test precision by examples of project implementation.Through the design of system and the project implementation examples of an open test system and a close test system of centrifugal pump which the author participated in, the paper presented the instances of test unit, measurement and control system, experimental method and the way of data analysis and processing. Through experimental verification, the conclusion shows that the accuracy of the self-designed centrifugal pump test system is higher than the first level accuracy required by GB/T 3216 standard.Based on the author’s multiple projects of the design and engineering implementation of the centrifugal pump test system, this paper focused on solving the following key problems:wireless torque test, electric parameter precision test under complex electromagnetic environment, high precision testing technology of mesaurement and control system based on PLC, and rapid cavitation performance test, etc. Developed a high precision centrifugal pump test system technology and it had been used in many high precision centrifugal pump test-bed, it has a important reference significance to the design of the similar test system and the improvement of test precision.
