With the fastly speed of development in our country, the asphalt mixture pavementhas has been widely used since the 1990s, through the research and popularization for nearly 20 years, AC (Asphalt Concrete) mixture has become the main material of asphalt mixture pavemen in the highway already. With the vast region and the huge difference of climatic conditions and transportation environment in our country,Though asphalt mixture pavement made the leap of quantity in our country, but every concrete mixture of project design has been made diffcult because of the wide range mix and asphalt.we collected the data of application of AC-13, AC-16 and AC-20 in different periods and regions in our country since 1996, analyzed the differences of key sieve and researched the characteristics of asphalt mixture in different regions of China. According to the application of asphalt mixture in different periods, the development features and rules of asphalt mixture are researched. The research indicates that there are the obvious changes in asphalt mixture applications from initial stage to present stage, and the regional disparity so on.we can find out the rules to provide reference for different area.Based on the above research, associated with gray correlation theory,we studied the discrepancy of effect factors of pavement performance with different lithological characters and asphalt, as well as analysis which is much more important factor betewwn key sieve and bitumen-aggregate ratio of mixture,we find the rules to guide the design and construction of asphalt mixture pavement. The results showed that the influences of pass ratio through 4.75mm sieve has much more important significance than bitumen-aggregate ratio in the pavement performance of mixture. In asphalt mixture ratio design, we can make two factors as the main control indicators, and conside the controllable and economic cost of factors, so as to improve and enhance the pavement performance of asphalt mixture.
