Loader is a kind of very common earthwork machinery, also being used for loading and unloading bulk materials on the highway and railway. Currently, vehicle-mounted weightometer system is used for dynamic weighting for loaders increasingly. But because the loader working environment is bad commonly, many operating personnels are arbitrary, work device always work with inertia & vibration impact, multi-hinge system always has random friction, a weightometer with high precision & stability always can not be designed easily. While weightometers on market always have low accuracy, most of them has an unfriendly HMI(Human Machine Interface) system and need being calibrated frequently, they always have too many operation requirements to be followed. Accordingly, this paper will undertake a comprehensive study for weightometer system and aim to design a better one with high accuracy, good reliability and friendly HMI.This paper conducted a detailed investigation on weighing programs, existing theories, and the system and typical operating condition of typical ZL50 loader, then it put forward a set of modified algorithms (Piecewise & Fixed Angle Weighing Calibration Method) based on the caterpillar weighting model and a kind of new method(Piecewise Constant Searching Algorithm) to solve the arm angle acceleration problem. In addition, the subject of a polynomial regression algorithm is studied and applied to the dynamic weighting process as a digital filter. For discrete data interpolation problem resolving, this paper use a combination of least-square fitting method & Akima interpolation algorithm.Based on the application of the algorithm and the consideration of demand, the host system with S3C44B0X core was designed, and it connected with digital sensor networks which has a dsPIC33FJ12MC201 core and based on the RS-485 bus with Modbus agreement. Then the embedded RTOS(Real Time Operating System) c/OS 2.76 and embedded GUI(Graphical User Interface) system c/GUI 3.90a was transplanted for the host system, and the custom of Chinese characters, Chinese input method and the communication interface of system was realized, then the system core weighing framework based on FSM(Finite State Machine) theory was designed.Finally, this paper established a set of HMI with two level management authorities.According to weighing experiments, this paper has designed a set of weightometer which has good weighing precision, high stability, good operability, and is worth being popularized.
