As intensifying of the world energy crisis, all of the countries in the world are finding ways to solve the energy crisis from the following two roads: one is searching for new energy and renewable energy using; the other is looking for new energy-saving technologies to improve energy use efficiency. For the increasingly tense situation in the energy, China has also put forward the "energy-saving and emission-reduction" requirement.Solar photovoltaic technology and wind power generation play important roles in renewable energy sources. In recent years, particularly from 1995 onwards, the world photovoltaic industry with an average growth rate is more than 33%. And the development of the past two years is more than 40%. Meanwhile, the wind energy market has developed rapidly. In 2007, the world's total installed capacity of wind power 90000 MW. In the next year, global wind power had increased by 28.8%. By the end of 2008 the world's total wind power has installed capacity more than 120.8 thousand megawatts.With the rapid development of China's telecommunications industry, there are more and more network coverage in remote areas and cable relay station building. For there is no electricity or electricity supply instability islands, desert and other areas far from human habitation, the using of solar or wind energy to generate electricity is not only solve the supply problem, but also reduce maintenance costs and the use of cost. The clean form of energy obtained without interference from industrial power grid. Meanwhile it can play well protection on communications equipment, and achieve energy-saving and emission-reduction targets. After all, it is a good solution.This paper describes the history, current situation and trends of the solar photovoltaic industry and wind power generation technology development. At the same time, it explains solar and wind power generation technology in the communication power supply in the system design approach to communications in remote areas provides a reference for power supply system design. This article describes the participation of the system design, installation, commissioning and analysis of the Public Bay power supply system on Shang Chuan Island mobile base station. This paper provides a data acquisition of power supply systems of the scenery complementary, and does an analysis of the operational status of the system. It also does a dialectical analysis of one of the economies. In the long run, the combined application of solar photovoltaic technology and wind power generation technology is a very meaningful task.
