Spatial Connection Mode Of Undeground Rail Transit Node And Large-scale Commercial Construction

It has becoming the main factor for the city development that the urban rail transit system and commercial construction in our modern city. They two affect and promote with each other. With the process of urbanization, the changes of social demand, and the urban traffic problems growing serious, rail transit as one of the rapid and mass traffic way, play an important role in urban development. Corresponding with this, because of the diversification and composition of commercial construction, the commercial spaces are breaking through the former close state, evolving as a dynamic open system that is multi-level and multiplex, and getting involved in the urban transit system actively. So that the boundaries between the commercial and traffic spaces disappeared day after day, while a new style of spaces which could merge and connect the rail transit node and large-scale commercial construction appeared.The connecting spaces between rail transit node and large-scale commercial construction plays a significant role in the urban function system. It is the circulation node of people both in subway station and commercial buildings, and it is also a component of renovation in commercial buildings. However, the design of such kind of space is still the beginning stages, and there are not mature theory and designing method or perfect relevant policies and management to support it, so there are still many problems in the construction of this connecting space.Based on the theories were studied from different disciplines if architecture, urban planning and urban transportation, with the examples in our country and overseas, described the construction current situation and existed problems in connecting space between rail transit node and large-scale commercial, and analyzed the key factors of the those problems. In the main part of the text, based on the designing content, including principles, designing features, basical analyzing and spatial organization, the paper reviews three kind of spatial connection mode on rail transit node and large-scale commercial construction from urban function, plan forms and spatial pattern. In the end of the paper, taking Changsha Wuyi Plaza node as a case, it provided the related connection strategy and recommendations, and made the further analysis on future development trend with Wuyi Plaza node.All the researches and analysis in the paper, was innovative in certain perspective of disciplines integration, these conclusion will be a great supplement for the research of the connecting space between rail transit node and commercial construction, and it will also be helpful to the development of the city.
