CNC machining wheel has become the main trend, CNC machining technology has gradually matured, wheels CNC machining process knowledge is the enterprise intellectual property and manufacturing resources, the management, inheritance and enrichment of wheels CNC machining process knowledge is an important research topic. Developing Wheel CNC Machining Knowledge Base has great significance for raising the level of the specialization wheel manufacturing.The main contents are as follows:1. The development trend of Computer Aided Process Planning and knowledge base and the relationship between them is discussed.2. The manufacturing methods of wheel are presented, and the detail of CNC machining is presented.3. The knowledge representation scheme is studied base on the trait of wheels machining process knowledge, the hybrid scheme consisted of predicate logic and frame is adopted.4.
