Urban environment modeling, which based on virtual reality technology, is focused on in the city planning, protection of cultural heritage, and visual entertainment, these realms provide urban environment modeling technology with a multitude of application requirements, which provide an impetus for development. To provide a summary of urban environment modeling technology's current state, we have categorized it into image based methods, rules based methods, and model based methods. In accordance with these three methods of categorization, we performed a comparison of their relevant theories.In southern Anhui, the structure of Anhui styled architecture, the delicacy of their design, and the beauty of their furnishings make for a rare experience in this world. In a sense, they are a pearl within the school of ancient Chinese architecture. Urban environment modeling technology can be used effectively to promote and sustain the styled architecture of Anhui. It is for this reason that it was selected for the subject our research.In our overall analysis of Anhui's structural designs, we found that the buildings were composed of modules that formed a stable structure, as well as layout patterns and intricately detailed furnishings. In accordance with our consideration of these characteristics, we introduced a building model representation consists of Module, Structure, Style, and Resources called MSSR. In accord with MSSR, we created separate databases for structural design, common building styles, and texture resources. Lastly, we established a system of Anhui styled buildings with MSSR to exhibit the result. From the perspective of the amount of code needed to describe the building designs, this method had a higher rate of efficiency.
