With the development of Auto industry, the solenoid valve is used more and more widely, meanwhile, the quality requirements of the solenoid valve is also higher and higher. So it is particularly important to detect the quality of the solenoid before it leave the factory. Especially in the detection of some export solenoid valve, apart from the necessary to detect the quality of the mechanical parts, it is also need to test whether the solenoid valve can keep a long and stable operation.Now, there is still no way to test whether the electromagnetic valve can keep stable in a long time under working status. It is because the state of the working solenoid valve is very complex, so testing become quite difficult. Therefore developing a analog instrument to simulate the actual working conditions of the solenoid valve is of great significance for exporting the solenoid valve of our country.This paper developed a PWM pulse power supply used to test the performance of the solenoid valve and simulate the actual working status of the car. In thorkine hardware design, the controlling core of the solenoid valve detector is a MCU, which is used to control the MAX038 and the SG3525 chip generating the necessary PWM wave. This power supply add display module and key module to facilitate Man-machine-dialog software. The software system which is implemented in a modular form part, achieve the functions of the test power supply that make the output voltage, frequency and duty changed by cycle. It is well satisfied the simulation needs of different types of solenoid valve's working status. The power supply we designed has been successfully applied to the motorcar solenoid valves manufacturers; it not only has creating significant economic benefits for enterprises, but also has contributing to the export of our solenoid valve.
