The Research And Design Of Suppressing Electromagnetism Interference From CT Scanner

Electromagnetism Compatibility (EMC) technology is a new scientific field which is developing rapidly. EMC based on the Electromagnetism Field theory is the interdisciplinary science including informatics, electrical, electronics, communications, etc and involved in several sorts of theories, such as mathematics, antenna and electric wave spread theory, electrical circuit, signal analysis. To solve the EMC problem, we shall be professional and technical in its content.NeuViz Dual of New dual spiral CT was researched and designed by our company. Because the product shall comply with the electromagnetism emission limits of International Electro-technical Commission (IEC) standard IEC60601-1-2 "Medical Electrical Equipment Part 1-2:General Safety Requirements-Collateral Standard:Electromagnetism Compatibility requirement and test" in order to export the international market, we study the task of electromagnetism emission. Because the CT with complicated construction and large size exist many disturbance sources and coupling ways, it is the key point for design and realization of reducing electromagnetism emission to identify the disturbance correctly. After lot of experiments and tests, I master the skill of identifying the electromagnetism emission disturbance with close filed probe. With the spread spectrum of clock and filter method, the emission magnitude of electromagnetism conduct and radiation is reduced. After the nonconformity of electromagnetism emission thoroughly is solved, we export the product to the world. At the same time these precious design experiences were accumulated for the EMC design of 16 sliced spiral CT in the near future.The article focuses on the design and realization of suppressing electromagnetism interference from CT scanner. First it analyzes the principle of electromagnetism interference, then introduces the construction of CT and technology of measuring electromagnetism emission, at last describes the design and realization of reducing the electromagnetism conducted and radiated emission from CT scanner.
