Diabetes is a common chronic disease without infection, but it is severe harm to human health, frequent blood glucose concentrations measurement is an important way to control diabetes and the complications. According to this, the author proposes a portable noninvasive blood glucose meter taking C8051F005 MCU as the core, it has broad application prospect in the health care area to every family.Based on the Beer Law and near infrared diffuse spectroscopy, the author poses the system design. This system is mainly made up of optical system, signal processing, data acquisition, drive control and chemo metrics software. The author associates composition of the samples with spectrum by chemo metrics software and establishes a calibration model. This model together with the spectral information of the unknown concentration sample is used to predict the blood glucose concentration. Optical system adopts all-fiber frames, which is made of the light, fiber conduction, fiber-optic probe and photo detector. The accuracy of the measurement is improved through the incident light collimation and the diffuse light coupling. At the same time, the author put total reflection mirror system and collimates the diffuse light in order to improve the accuracy. The design of hardware circuit system uses modular principles; the circuit mainly includes MCU module, current collection and amplifier, A/D conversion module, serial communication module, the keyboard and LCD display module. Then the author describes the design of software system, the main program frame and the main subroutine. Moreover the author uses Low-power design ideas to collect data, combines spectral analysis to model and predict the blood glucose concentration. Then the author results the relations of diffuse light intensity value and glucose value. At the same time the Reliability of system is analyzed, and the related noise factor is considered.Finally, the author summarizes the full text and analyzes the problems in this system. And the future development of this system and the further problems also are talked.
