Wild medicinal materials resources have been the main source of our country.In recent years, a lot of wild resources of the traditional medicine have been collected, which leads to Chinese herbal medicine wild resoures become scarce increasingly. Radix Stutellariae and Rhizoma Atractylodis are wildly used in our country, their wild resources had been exhausted, which promoted the rapid rise of Radix Scutellariae and Rhizoma Atractylodis cultivation, however, the problem of unclear provenances and unstable quality hindered large-scale and standardized cultivation, the research about medicinal quality need to be further. This research based on the material of Scutellaria baicalensis、Atractylodes lancea and Atacyylodes chinensis carry out three aspects of research work:(1)Study on the effect of production factors on the growth and quality of Scutellaria baicalensis、Atractylodes lancea and Atacyylodes chinensis, and study the mechanism of effect of production factors on the growth and quality of Scutellaria baicalensis、Atractylodes lancea and Atacyylodes chinensis through the analysis of the soil and climatic factors data; (2)Study on the effect of provenance factors on the growth and quality of Scutellaria baicalensis、Atractylodes lancea and Atacyylodes chinensis, and study growth and quality discrepancy between different provenances of Scutellaria baicalensis、Atractylodes lancea and Atacyylodes chinensis, these two aspects of work lay the foundation for the breeding of Scutellaria baicalensis、Atractylodes lancea and Atacyylodes chinensis; (3)With the mathematical statistic analysis, study the effect and effect degree of production factor、provenance factor and their interaction effect on the growth and quality of Scutellaria baicalensis、Atractylodes lancea and Atacyylodes chinensis, these work were done to find the key influencing factors to guide the standardized planting of Scutellaria baicalensis、Atractylodes lancea and Atacyylodes chinensis.The main results were as follows:1. The effect of production factor effect on the growth index and active component of Scutellaria baicalensis was large, and soil and climate were the key factors. This study shows that the root growth index and the content of active components of Radix Scutellaria had significant difference between different places (P<0.05), the groth index of places of Hebei Chengde district、Beijing Shunyi district and Shandong Juxian district were high, the content of active component of places of Hebei Chengde district and Shandong Juxian district were higher, and the content of active component of place of Beijing Shunyi district is lower. Study and analyse the soil and climate factors, soil factors have great influence on the growth of Scutellaria baicalensis, and climate factors have great influence on the active components of S. baicalensis.Annual precipitation, humidity, sunshine hours and baicalin, wogonoside were significantly correlated.2. The effect of provenance factor effect on the growth index and active component of Scutellaria baicalensis was large, however, this impact weakened gradually. This study shows that the root growth index and the content of active components of Radix Scutellaria had significant difference between different provenance (P<0.05), the growth index of provenance of Gansu Dingxi was higher, and the content of active component of provenance of Hebei Chengde was higher, in short, the yield and quality of provenance is different, so comprehensive evaluation were need in provenance selecton. The study alse found that the impact of provenance factor weakened gradually as the time goes on.3. The interaction between production factors, soil factors and provenance factor have great influence on the growth of S1. baicalensis, and have no influence on the active component of S". baicalensis. This study shows that the effect of interaction of production factor and provenance factor on the growth of Scutellaria baicalensis were higher, but lower than production factor and provenance factor alone, and have no influence on the active components. The interaction of soil factor and provenance factor on the growth of Scutellaria baicalensis were higher, but the effect of provenance factor was bigger than the production factor and their interaction, and have no effect on the active components.4. The production factor had significant effect on growth indexes of Rhizoma Atractylodis, and had no effect on the content of active component.this study shows that the root growth index of Atractylod.es lancea and Atacyylodes chinensis had significant difference between different places (P<0.05), and the district of Hebei Chengde and Hubei Yingshan were better suited to the growth of Atractylodes lancea and Atacyylodes chinensis, but the district of Meimenggu Wulanhaote is not suitable for the growth of Atractylodes lancea and Atacyylodes chinensis.The production factor had no effect on the quality of Atractylodes lancea and Atacyylodes chinensis.With the analysis of data, the accumulation of soil elemengts Mg, Mn, Fe, Cu, Zn were better suited to the growth of Atractylodes lancea and Atacyylodes chinensis, and high Ca is not suitable for the growth of plant. The a certain range, the higher of temperature, the bigger of leaf, the more suitable for the growth of plant, however, high temperature was a limiting factor of the growth of Atractylodes lancea and Atacyylodes chinensis. The climate factor and soil factor had no effect on the active component.5. The provenance factor had no effect on the growth indexes and active component of Atractylodes lancea and Atacyylodes chinensis.This study shows that the root growth index and the content of active components of Atractylodes lancea and Atacyylodes chinensis had significant difference between different provenances (P<0.05).There is significant difference between the provenance of a source of Atractylodes lancea and the provenance of Atacyylodes chinensis. The content of active component of Atractylodes lancea and Atacyylodes chinensis had significant difference between different provenance, and the content of Atactydin (6.2019 mg·g-1,4.7456 mg·g-1) and Atractylon (8.1717 mg ·g-1,9.7072 mg·g-1) of provenance of Heibei Chengde district and Neimenggu Tongliao district were higher than provenance of Hubei Yingshan district.6. The interaction of production factor and provenance factor had significant effect on the growth indexes of Atractylodes lancea and Atacyylodes chinensis, and had no effect on the active component. This study shows that the interaction of production factor and provenance factor had significant effect on the growth of Atractylodes lancea and Atacyylodes chinensis(P<0.01),and lower than production factor and provenance factor alone. the interaction of production factor and provenance factor had no significant effect on the active component, but the effect of provenance factor was high.
