Problems And Countermeasures Of Hulunbeier Grassland Ecology

Hulunbuir, a typically original ecological region, is adjacent to Russia and Mongolia, functions as an important protective screen in northern part of China,therefore receiving close attention home and abroad. At present, the ecological environment in Hulunbuir improves continuously as deforestation of local forest which covers 120 thousand of 250 thousand square kilometers of Hulunbuir acreage has been prohibited comprehensively. Under which circumstances, whether effective measures could be carried out to protect Hulunbuir Grassland, with an area of 80 thousand square kilometers, is of pivotal importance so as to keep the improving momentum of local ecological environment. Innumerable researches have been undertaken by scholars worldwide regarding the protection of ecological environment of grasslands,furthermore, many measures have been taken from the perspective of projects,techniques and policies with natural and human factors deemed two major reasons. This article takes as its object of study Hulunbuir Grassland, and human factor is regarded as the most important cause. The purpose of this article is to locate the main problems and their severity through comparing related grassland data laterally and longitudinally,focusing on the drawing up and carrying out of public plans, and then propose effective ways to tackle the problems from the governments’ standpoint.
