Improving the nutrition of crop straw (Maize straw and Wheat straw) treated with fungi ?DT fungus was studied. After a 30-day of liquid fermentation, The loss rate of neutral detergent fiber (NDF) of crop straw, which was treated with fungi in mineral culture medium, was more than that of the control (P<0.0 1). At the same time, the content of glucose in the fermentation solution was more than that of the control (P<0.0 1). The fungal fermented crop straw was analyzed for different parameters after a fermentation period of 10, 20 and 30 days at 25 0C. The content of NDF, acid detergent fiber (ADF), cellulose and hemicellulose of the fermented straw after different time were less than those of the control (P<0.05) Content of acid detergent lignin and in vitro dry matter digestibility of the straw after a 10-day fermentation were similar with those of the control (P>0.05), and after a 20-day and a 30-day fermentation, content of ADL of the fermented straw was less than that of the control (P<0.05), in intro dry matter digestibility of the fermented straw was more than that of the control (P<0.05). In digestibility test, the apparent digestibility of dry matter (DM), NDF, ADF, cellulose and hemicellulose of Maize straw were differently more than those of the control (P <0.05).
