For populanling and perfecting the "3S3H" comprehensive cultivation in forage rice, its effects on the aim characters of different cultivars were studied. Another aim was to study the possibility of improve rice's nutrition quality through culture technique. The aim characters include "3S", "3H" and protein quality. Six cultivars were included, the main results arc as the follows.1.Thc "3S3H" culture techniques can harmonize the conflict of high grain yield and high protein content in rice. Average yield of varieties increase by 42.36kg/mu., which reached PO.OS signifisant level , while difference existed between the varieties. There were 2 varieties at each significant level, because their effective panicles, spiklets per panicle and seed-setting percent were affected differently under the "3S3H" culture technique. The yield of hybrid rice increased more than that of general rice for the spikelets per panicle and the seed-setting percent increased more. Their effective panicles and 1 000 grains weight changed at the same level. The mean value of all varieties protein content added at PO 05 significant level as the same as protein yield ,It increased more in the high protein content varieties and the hybrid rice.2.The "3S3H"culture technique can improve protein qualities. The analyzed results of amino acid components: The content of the total amino acid ,the Thr. (the second restrictive amino) and the Arg were increased, .so did the essential amino acid content and the Lys (the first restrictive amino acid content) of the two varieties.3.The "3S3H" culture technique can improve agriculture characters. Under the cultural conditions of the "3S3H" ,lhc seedling quality was enhanced obviously , and the index of robust seedling was enlarged by 37.2%. Compared with the general rice , the hybrid rice increased more . the seedling dynamic carve was relatively stable. .Biological yield and panicle length were raised., the lengths of the culm and the plant were shortened, the harvest index discrcased a little.4.About how to improve the "3S3H" cultivation further. The variance analysis and the mul-rcgrss analyis reached the same results: under the cultural conditions of the "3S3H",The increasing yields for general rice was the reason of adding spikelets per panicle and the effective panicles ,while of the adding spikelets per panicle and selling percent for hybrid rice .The protein yields were detcrmincdcd of the grain yields for the general rice ,of protein content besides the grain yields for hybrid rice ,so the main researching direction is to increase the grain yields through caltibateing large and magnaminous panicles for the general rice and large panicles and seed setting percent for hybrid rice in order to improving the "3S3H" cultivation further.Qu Jianguo (Cultivation & Tillage) Directed by Prof.Zhou Ruiqing...
