1.Variety characters of Lindao No.10Based on a series of experiments and studies, the characters in growth duration of'Lindao 10'were found out.'Lindao 10'is of a little later maturity with about 155 days of growth duration from seeding to heading and has height averaging 95-105cm tall in culm length with good canopy architecture . It has erect pubescent leaf blades , tough culm ,deep green leaf , strong photosynthesis, quick speed of dry matter accumulation and good mature color of grains . And it turns green quickly after transplanted in the field , tillers early, fruits at a high rate, grows roots flourishingly and doesn't age early in the last stage . It is high resistant to rice blast and bacterial blight of rice, but medium susceptible to sheath and culm blight of rice .It has a wide adaptability, high lodging resistance and good tolerance of fertilizer. Its ear is like a club and the ear is big with about 100-130 grains closed tightly and weigh 26-27g per thousand seeds .The number of effective ears is 190-220 thousand per ha. and its yield performance is over 9750kg/ha.2. Technology of raising older , strong seedling under drought conditionThe result showed the technology based on'less seeding-rate ,promoting at first, controlling at last'is much better than the traditional planting way , which raising older long seedlings in the way of'control first , promote later'. The changed quantity of seeds is 300-375kg / ha instead of the traditional quantity of 525-600kg / ha. During the growth of seedling , take care of irrigations and fertilizations in the former stage . Usually, water and fertilize the seedling when two and half leaves appear so that promote tillering at low-place early .
