Two experiment were conducted to grasp the germplasm characteristic Turpan cock fighting and give full play to its breeding and economic value. Trial 1:The blood physiological and biochemical paraments were determined both sexes of Turpan cock fighting at 24 weeks of age. The results showed that there were significant differences in respiratory rate, red cell counts, sedimentation rate (30,45,60 min), hemoglobin differential count of Leukocytes between the sexes. No differences in body temperature, heart rate, write cell count and sedimentation rate(15min)were found between the females and males. Serum samples were analyzed by an automatic blood analyzer: lactic dehydrogenates(LDH),total cholesterol, calcium and phosphorus and glucose. There was significant difference in LDH, but no difference in calcium,phosphorus glucose and total cholesterol were found. And there was significant difference in male sex hormone between Turpan cock fighting and Hy-Line egg-type breeding bird. Trial 2: Positive and negative hybridization were carried out with Turpan cock fighting and French recessive white feather meat-type breeding birds. Hybrid descendants are called respectively F1 and F2, F0 is pure breeding descendant of Turpan cock fighting. Compared F1's body weight with F0's, there was significant difference from the forth week to the tenth week. Compared F2's body weight with F0's, there was not significant difference except birth weight, the forth week,the sixth week and the eighth week.
