Preliminary Report Of Cultivation Test Of Bitter Gourd

In order to explore cultivation techniques of bitter gourd in the protection field of plastic shed in late autumn in Naning,experimerts of selecting varities ,and different sowing stages,and two factors of plant density and method of trimming primary branches were made in the stuties.The result showed that "Chun Feng 40"had the highest yield in 4varieties for test ,was 61.07 %higher than "Chun Feng 45",185.86%higher than "Guangxi darou 2"in yield ;bitter gourd sowed on 20 September was 50.86%higher than on 30 September and 195.9% higher than on 10 October in yield;method of trimming primary branches had no affect on yield and weight of fruit,bitter gourd planted at 2500plants per 667 m2 was 6.4% higher than 3000plants and 19.44%higher than 2000plants in yield ,mean weight of fruit decreased when plant density increased.Cultivation techniques of bitter gourd in the preelection field of plastic shed in late autumn in Nanning were furtherly disscused in this paper.
