The object of research in this paper is the rice seedling feeding vibration plate of rice seedling arranging machine. The main task is to find the optimized combination of the parameters which have great influences on the vibration plate and to provide theorical basis for further optimization.The vibration plate is a rice seedling feeding device and the most important working component in the whole machine. The four parameters (spring inclination a , the frequency of excitation force w , the amplitude of excitation force F, the spring stiffness K) are the major factors that take great influences on the vibration plate. In order to analyzing the influences of four parameters, the virtual prototype of vibration plate is built in ANSYS to get inherent frequency from modal analysis. Thorough transient analysis in ANSYS, the curves of displacement N velocity and acceleration is presented. Moreover the fatigue strength and life span of spring is validated. The method for improving performance of vibration plate is put forward after data analysis.The simulation experiment is carried out in virtual prototype that is built in ADAMS. The performance of vibration and movement of seedlings is validated in the whole vibration plate simulation. An Orthogonal experiment is designed for analyzing the effect that the four parameters (F, co , a , K) act on horizontal and vertical velocity of seedlings. The optimized combination of parameters is gained after statistical analysis of variance and regression. In the four parameters the frequency of excitation force is most significant to the horizontal and vertical velocity of seedlings. The amplitude of excitation force is less significant. The influence of the spring tolerance to the performance is studied. The tolerance of spring should be controlled under 2percents. The waveform of current excitation force is rectangle. After comparing three form (Rectangle,saw and sine wave) of excitation force, the conclusion is drawed that the sine wave is much better than the other two waveforms. Finally, multi-seedling virtual prototype is studied. The rice seedling mode is optimized fatherly. The macros for building multi-seedling and contact force and the program of sensors are written. The spring is replaced by a flexible part.The optimized combination of parameters is listed as followed: the amplitude of excitation force is 150 Newton; the frequency of excitation force is 38 hertz; the inclination and stiffness of spring is 64 degree and 56 newton per millimeter.
