High frequency somatic embryogenesis and salt-resistant cell line selection from Xinluzao No.1 and Xinluzao No.7, have been studied. We obtained high frequency somatic embryogenesis of Xinluzao No.1 and Xinluzao No.7, and salt-resistant cell line from Xinluzao No.7 as well.1. The best culture medium for embryogenesis of Xinluzao No.1 is MS + GA3 0.05mg/L + 6-BA 0.1mg/L, and its frequency reaches 90.40%; that of Xinluzao No.7 is MS+ IAA 0.1mg/L + KT 0.1 mg/L+Pro1.0mg/L, its frequency reaches 85.20%.2. The culture media which has the highest rate of mature embryos in Xinluzao No.1 is MS1 + IAA 0.1mg/L+ NAA 0.1 mg/L, reaching 76.19%, and Xinluzao No.7 is MS + ABA 0.05 mg/L, reaching 43.30%. The normal plant rate of Xinluzao No.1 is the highest in 1/2MS culture media, reaching 65.71%. But for Xinluzao No.7, MS +IAA 1.0mg/L + 6-BA 0.2mg/L is the best, reaching 85.71% .3. The survival rate of regeneration plant transferring reaches 80.95%, it is best to choose "lakali" as transfer substance in earlier stage, then move into mixed soil:pearlite = 1:1 for plants' growing. The sterile water is better than other nutrition liquids when transferring. 4. The best dry time for embryonic callus is 9 hrs, its embryogenesis frequency exceed 9.10% compared with CK, reaching 12.67%. There is no embryo occurring when dry time more than 15 hrs. 5. Abnormal embryos and no-root regeneration plant can be changed into normal embryos and plant in tissue culture. The best medium is MS + IAA 0.25mg/L + ZT 0.25 mg/L for abnormal embryo turning into normal embryo. The best medium for root inducing is MS+ IAA 0.1 mg/L + NAA 0.5 mg/L, there were about 3 roots generated from per plant within forty days .6. Through salt-resistant selection, we obtained stable cell line of Xinluzao No.7 which resisted 85.6mmol/L NaCl, and confirmed primarily with esterase and peroxidase isozymes electrophoresis map.
