224 soybean varieties (1ines) were inoculated separately with10 races of CerosPora sojjna Hara, and 21l new soybean lines wereinoculated with the main multip1e physiologica1 races of l0 racesof C soJjna. The object of the study: 0ne was to screen out varieties(lines) that were resistant to dominant physio1ogical race and othermu1tip1e physio1ogical races of C soJjn. The second was tocomprehend and grasp new soybean lines resistance. The third was tobreed new varieties with the resistant resources screened. The resu1ts were as fo11ows:47 soybean varieties (1 ines) were resistant to 8--10 races (20. 98%of the total tested materia1s, among them the materia1s that camefrom the northeast agricu1tura1 universi ty were the most, i tspercentage was 46. 81%, and 5 Cu1tivars have been p1anted wi1d1:J inHeilongjiang province (10. 64% of 47 soybean varieties (1ines) ). Thescope of frequency of race 1 to race 10 infecting tota1 testedcu1tivars was between 50% and 79% that was thinner than the maincu1tivars (bet..,leen 37. 5% and 85%). The frequency of distribution ofresi stance of the tested varieties (1 ines) and the main cu1tivarsshowed: t11ere \vere varieties (1ines) that was not on1y resistant tosing1e race but also resistant to multiple races. Testing race l torace 10 of C sOjjna showed race 6 was the most viru1ent. 22 soybeanvarieties (1ines) were resistant to the dominant race and race6, among them the percentage of the materials that came from thenortheast agricultura1 university were the most (68. l8%).In l999--2001, among 21l new soybean lines, on1y one line wassignificant1y resistant, 39 1 ines showed resistant (l8. 48% of thetota1 tested materia1s), 78 lines were between resistant andsusceptible (36. 97% of the tota1 tested materials), 93 lines wassusceptible (44. 08% of the total tested materials). 211 new soybean lines were sorted out according to different eco-regions where they came from. Among . each eco-regional lines of the total tested , resistant lines proportions from high to low were: Bayinongda 棔 Suihua -* Harbin -* Jamusi ?Beian, Jiusanju, Heihe; between resistant and susceptible lines proportions from high to low were: Harbin -*?Jamusi -*?Suiha -* Beian -?Jiusanju -*?Bayinongda -* Heihe; susceptible lines proportions from high to low were Heihe -^Jiusanju 桞eian-*Suihua-籎iamusi-"Harbin桞ayinongda.In this research, we had bred and spread ten cultivars and fifteen lines that were resistant to C. sojina.Postgraduate: Wu Xiu-hong Supervisor: Vice Prof. Wen Jing-zhi Major: Plant Pathology...
