The Study On The Optimized Recipes Of Chitin To Get High Yield And Quality In Strawberry

The regulation of chitin on strawberry was studied. As a result, a series of recipes whose composition was chitin were invented. Used corporately, these recipes can make strawberry plant grow healthy, gain wide disease resistance and get higher yield and quality.Using the theory of orthogonal gyration design , we selected five factors :chitin(Apollo series : Apollo 100 and Apollo963), hormone(NAA), antiseptic (carbendazim), fertilizer (KH2P03) as experiment factors, and each factor have five levels. According the theory of orthogonal gyration design we get 36 treatments on strawberry.The experiments were carried from 2002 to 2003, strawberry (Fragaria ananassa Duch.cv.Darselect ) as material, and the treatment fashion was irrigation around strawberry roots.In different development period of strawberry, different index characters were studied. Using the computer software the data were analysed. The regression equation between our index characters and the experiment factors were established .Through single effect and mutual effects and marginal effects among experiment factors some regulation of chitin were found, and the active effects of chitin on strawberry were approved.Through the simulation of the regression equation among our index characters and experiment factors, we found the best range of the factors for each index characters, in these range our best recipe for certain index character. As the following:The effect of each recipe was validated by field experiments. It is confirmed that the three recipes have different effects on strawberry. Recipe I have the function inducing strawberry produce more root, making the plant of strawberry stronger and improving the nutrition of whole plant. Recipe III solidified the effect of recipe I and recipe II, worked on the improvement of yield and quality.Our result about chitin validate the early study of physiological mechanism of chitin and indicate chitin has function on growth of plant. The use of the method of orthogonal gyrating design gave us plenty of information to make us advance in many other fields.
