The Affect Factor Analyzing On Farmers To Adopt The Vegetable Technology In Plastic Shelter

Generalizing the vegetable technology in plastic shelter is an important way to supply vegetables amply in the off seasons and to keep balance of the vegetable supply around the year. And it is also an important content of agricultural industrialization in China. Farmer is the foundation of generalizing the vegetable technology in plastic shelter, but farmer's adopting action of the technology is effected by various reasons. Thus, it has an instructional significance to find out and analyze the factors that influence farmer's adopting action, meanwhile, to exert the favorable factors and to eliminate the unfavorable ones.The study analyzed the factors that influenced farmer's adopting action of the vegetable technology in plastic shelter by exemplifying the practical experience of Hubei agricultural college. The study was carried out by personal generalizing, investigating, interviewing and quantitative and qualitative analyzing. The results were as follows:Much economic benefit was the essential reason for the farmer to adopt the vegetable technology in plastic shelter. Farmer's initial intention of adopting the technology was hindered by the large sum of investment, high technology demand, big risk, technicians' and government's low credit degree and farmer's low educational degree. But even though, farmer still could be encouraged to adopt the vegetable technology in plastic shelter by taking effective measures. The familial per capita average agrarian area and the workforce affected the farmer to adopt the vegetable technology in plastic shelter too.It is influenced by the mentioned above factors for the farmer to adopt the vegetable technology in plastic shelter. The ultimate decision of the farmer was the comprehensive effect of various factors. But it was the economic avail that played the primary role.Finally, some recommendations on agricultural technology generalization were presented on the basis of analyzing the main farmers that influenced the farmer to adopt the vegetable technology in plastic shelter.
