Modern productions are being developed in the directions of intelligentization and automatization, which makes the performance of the productions be developed continuously. The competition of the companies is becoming more drastic. If companies want to win in the drastic international competition, they must design and manufacture their productions with advanced science and technology. In addition to enhancing the products performance and decreasing the cost, the company should adapt to the market, reflect to the market quickly, and develop more new production. Development of the computer aided intelligent design technology makes the production be designed automatically and intelligently. By the general CAD, the full process of empoldering some specially manufacture. Only empoldering the special CAD software to the manufacture, the full peocess from project planing, expert information managing, parameter optimazing and choosing, 3D entity sculpting, engineering drawing becoming automatically and person to computer information communion.As a farming producing tool using abroad, the plow play an important role in the soil cultivating. With the development of society and the progress of technology, the people have the higher and higher demand to the product capability. The plow frame is a important part of the plow and it's design periods and capability will affect directly the design periods and capability of the plow. How to get a choiceness plow frame matching the plow in the short time is a new task to men who are engaged in the study on agricultural machine. The study on intelligent aided design system of the plow frame base on the problem is discussed in the dissertation. The system is made up of three parts: plow frame CAD, ES (expert system) and CAE.In plow frame CAD part, the computer-aided intelligent design technology is used to study the Appending and retroflexion plow frame and the parts. Based on Windows operating system, the software was developed on the CAD platform of AutoCAD2000, with the developing tools of VBA and VB etc. By using of this software, the labor of the designer can be decreased and the design efficiency can be increased a lot and the design level of plow frame will be push to a high level.The plow frame CAD needs the expert experiment and standard knowledge. ES (expert system) is applied in the plow frame CAD through three aspects: the parameter selection ES, the plow frame design ES and the plow frame design checkout ES. The parameter selection ES of the plow frame body CAD is mainly analyzed. Knowledge of the three vaults that contain the parameter selection knowledge, the figure explanation knowledge, and the case knowledge is saved in relation database. The knowledge search and reasoning are explained in flow chart. A sample show that the parameter selection ES of the plow body CAD can give a guidance to select and optimize the parameters.In plow frame CAE part, this paper take Appending plow frame(lL435)and retroflexion plow frame(lLFC435) for example,base on ANSYS software and APDL(ANSYS Parametric Design Language) carry out final element analysis(CAE).
