Studies On Ecological Characteristics Of Compound Economic Forest Model In Slope Land Of Three Gorges Reservoir Region

Converting land to forestry is a great engineering now in China, and it is especially important for ecological restoration and sustainable development in western. Three Gorges Reservoir is the largest water conservancy vital point project in the world. It is also significant to deal with production development and Ecology protection in slope land considering Three Gorges Reservoir safety and farms' life there. In order to combine the policy of our country Converting land to forestry engineering, the experiment field is chosen in a named Bajiaoxi watershed of Zigui county, Hubei province. Three ecological restoration models in watershed are practiced and studied. Three models are respectively ecological economic forest compound model, soil and water conservation forest model and hedgerow model. But the studied key point in this paper is ecological economic forest compound model, at the same time, comparing with the other two models. In this paper, research contents include: rainfall characteristic and its relative model in watershed, physical and chemical characteristic of soil, soil and water loss, nutrient loss, and build some relative models according to different conditions for three ecological restoration models. Furthermore, comprehensive evaluation benefit of different model is also studied. Research results indicate: the year rainfall of 2003 in watershed is 1388.5mm, the rainfall of flood season from April to September account for 78.37% of all-year rainfall; in all-year, rainfall times are 131, but rainfall days are 134; the model relation between month rainfall and its erosion is Logistic, the model relation between time rainfall and its erosion manifest power function; it is effective to improve soil physical and chemical conditions, prevent soil and water loss and nutrient loss for ecological economic forest compound model; there are different function models between runoff and sediment, between runoff and rainfall, between sediment and rainfall for different ecological restoration models; According to study result of comprehensive evaluation benefit of different ecological restorationmodel, the benefit of (ecological economic forest compound model is the best, worthily popularizing it in Three Gorges Reservoir Region.
